Val is a lively and highly experienced trainer. After a successful career in education, Val left her headship and launched her own training company in 1999. Val’s courses and workshops are always popular, using a sound combination of knowledge and understanding, skills and humour, to create a positive climate for improvement, whatever the situation.

Val has delivered bespoke Customer Service workshops, coached individuals in telephone and face-to-face customer interaction, and delivered her own tailored programme, focusing on people behaviour and gaining customer satisfaction.

Recent clients are spread throughout a variety of sectors including education, finance and business support through several Councils. She has worked with a wide variety of small to medium-sized businesses, particularly in Hampshire. In the education sector, Val has worked for West Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Kent Councils, delivering training in government educational initiatives working with individuals and both small and large groups. In finance, she works with medium-sized accountancy firms, assessing staff skills, identifying gaps and delivering relevant coaching and workshops helping them to better understand their potential clients.

Val’s qualifications include:

  • Qualified Level A & B Aptitude and Personality Profiling – British Psychological Society
  • Qualified Thomas International assessor and profiler
  • Diploma in Advanced Educational Studies
  • Certificate in Education

Val is based between Southampton and Portsmouth and delivers customer service training in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Bristol, Avon, Hampshire – and, indeed, across the country.
